Warranties: BYD Solar panels come with a 12 year materials warranty, and a performance warranty of 10 years at 90% and 25 years at 80%. Your warranty will be directly serviced by BYD’s Australian agent who will assist you with any warranty issues, including replacement of a panel for you if it is deemed faulty without the expense of paying for the freight overseas. Samil inverters come standard with a 5 year warranty but you can take out an extended warranty of up to 20 years at any point during the first five years for a small additional cost.
