NEWSFLASH - Generous Solar Credit Rebate is set to reduce from 1 July 2012. Call us today to avoid missing out!
There are two ways to financially benefit from purchasing a solar power system. The first is by gaining a point of sale discount through the STC multiplier (which is set to reduce by 33% on 1 July 2012).
The second is by ensuring you get the Queensland Goverments Feed In Tariff (FIT) which means you are entitled to sell the excess power you produce from your solar power system to your energy retailer and earn at least 44 cents per kilowatt hour for it.
But be aware - the QLD FIT is the last one left in Australia and is under review at the moment from the QLD Government. There is some industry speculation that it wont last! Call us today and once you have deposited on a solar power package with us we will lodge your forms with Energex to get you in the system for the FIT.
As part of our in-home energy assessment we will select the best solar power system to suit your needs, then we can explain in detail how these rebates work.
There is more information about these rebates in the library section on our website.
